KENDRICK, RAPS MOST HIGH WINS BEST RAP PERFORMANCE


Kendrick Lamar took home the award for best rap performance before the 58th annual Grammy Awards on Monday night. 

Thanks to the 28-year-old musician's song "Alright," Lamar beat out an impressive list of nominees and familiar hits to any rap fan – J.Cole for "Apparently,"Drake for "Back to Back," Fetty Wap for "Trap Queen," Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne and Drake for "Truffle Butter" and Kanye West, Theophilus London, Allan Kingdom and Paul McCartney(yes, that McCartney) for "All Day."  Lamar topped everybody with 11 nominations
